★★★★★ Five StarsWhat's really great about this thing is that it actually works! I did a test just yesterday and I put this thing on my couch and put a fleece blanket on the back of the couch and I just went at it launching balls and I counted 50 balls without any degredation in launching ability. This thing is really underrated as far as I'm concerned. I have NOT been paid by anyone either!
★★★★☆ Four StarsI bought the iFetch Too after I thought I was going to return the iFetch because the iFetch balls are so much smaller than a normal sized tennis ball and was concerned that my Cardigan Corgi would swallow it. I only tried out the iFetch Too inside the house on the lowest distance setting. The machine is very quiet and shoots out the ball almost instantaneously compared to the lag time with the iFetch which means your dog has less of a chance to block the path of the shooting ball with his face- a major plus! i decided to unpack the iFetch and actually it try it out to see how my Corgi handled the smaller ball and it went a lot better than I anticipated. He also seemed less intimidated by the size of the smaller model and came much closer to it than the larger model. Because of that, I've decided to keep the iFetch and send back the iFetch Too because I don't need both and the larger model is almost twice the cost of the smaller model. Although I only tried it out for a very short period of time, I was impressed by the quality of the product and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone with a medium to large sized dog.
★★★★☆ Four StarsFeb 2016 Update: IFetch contacted me through my review and then immediately responded to my email contact. They have placed an order and are sending me a brand new Ifetch Too in the mail right away with a prepaid label to return my defective one. Because of their willingness to rectify the situation quickly and at no cost to me, I've ammended my stars. It's hard to find a company that will take full responsibility and the fact that they are start up and still willing to do this means a lot. It's hard to find these days and much appreciated. I'll update again on the use of the new one I get in the mail. But for now, thanks!-----Feb 2016I'm updating this after 2 months of LIGHT use. My dog uses this about once a week for 10 minutes at a time. 2 months later after we bought it brand new we noticed that the plastic wheel cogs inside that grab the ball and launch it are getting worn down, causing the ball to repeatedly get stuck in the machine because the cogs won't grip anymore.-------Dec 2015The machine itself works, is quiet, and shoots true. Few kinks: It doesnt work well with Chuck It rubber balls because there's not enough grip for the cogs to grab the ball and propel it. Also, the ball gets stuck inside about 40% of the time and needs to be removed by a human. Lastly, sometimes the machine will just jam or turn off and does nothing until I hit the power button again and then the ball is propelled out. This happens about 10% of the time. The other thing, our dog is so used to us throwing the ball and is so obediant that she will only drop the ball in the bucket if we tell her to! We despeartely want her to do this on her own (it's the whole point of such an expensive purchase!!) but for now we will continue to train her and see if she will do it on her own. Any tips on overcoming this issue are welcome!
★★★★★ Five StarsWe love this. Dogs are emotionally manipulative in their use, non- use of ballerator's actual functions. (Despite the fact i know how to use this YOU must gandle tge sliney ball to drop it in the hopper.) High price, still a super investment. One big problem. Dogs trying to use the device by themselves have clawed off both blue trim rings (around ejector and input ports). One got eaten. This leaves the ejector port with open, breakable sharp edges.Without this would be five stars.3/1/16 update. The iFetch CSR contacted me because of this review, and offered to replace the unit, paying for the shipping. This level of service meets or exceeds my wildest expectations. Thanks iFetch CSR!
★★★★☆ Four StarsWorks great! My dog is learning to drop the ball right into the hopper. It seems to be able to withstand quite a bit of slobber from my lab but, I do find that when it get too much we need to change the ball or let the iFetch dry out a little because the ball starts getting stuck.
★★★★★ Five StarsI am very pleased with our iFetch purchase. I wish it wasn't so pricey but the product itself works just as promised. It is taking our energetic pup some training to learn how to use it himself but he LOVES it. He knows to drop it in front of me or next to the iFetch but hasn't quite learned how to drop it in the top. I'm pleasantly surprised how quiet the launcher is as well, because I was worried that our dog would be afraid of it but he's not at all! I would definitely recommend the iFetch to other customers!
