We bought this table when we were out comparing all the different brands. We had 4 golden retrievers at the time, this table was much sturdier and had the grooves that let the water drain away, its non slip surface is also superior to others we tried. The table comes with an arm to keep your dog from wiggling around and possibly falling off the table. Another feature we liked is that it folds up and can be taken places. We showed our dogs in shows at the time and folded up the legs and detachable arm and took it with us, carries easy, and just fold out legs, and lock them, and your ready. Our dogs were around 90 pds. and didn't like to be groomed, but if your going to do it yourself, it's something you really should have. There's really nothing else you need, except your grooming tools, and your ready to make your dog beautiful, quickly and without killing your back and trying to get your dog to stand still. Very good investment for medium to medium-large dogs. P,S, if you have a dog heavier than 100 pds. or an older dog you may want to consider a ramp for them to walk up on to the table. It's a lot of weight to pick up and put on the table unless they cooperate and will jump up for you, which ours didn't. Older dogs can have their backs hurt if they are large and your trying to pick them up. Adjustable height for the arm, but ours did not come with the loop to hold their heads still.

This is NOT a professional-grade grooming table! It's too insubstantial. It's for the pet-owner (or to use on the road at a show). It is light weight. Easily transported, though the size of the table top makes it a little clumsy to carry. Unfolds and folds up easily. Locking mechanism to keep legs open. Little "buttons" on the ends of each leg.Height of table NOT adjustable (as on a professional table). There is a way to adjust the height of the piece that attaches to the arm that holds the "noose" (blue cord in the picture) to keep the dog in the right place on the table. There is also a way to adjust how far the noose hangs off the arm. See picture. There is no way to add a haunch-holder, for example, for a senior dog or a wiggler, unless you gin up another arm and clamp setup.I'm not sure how heavy a dog would be safe on this table. I have mini poodles, and it's just fine.In any event, you should NOT leave your dog unattended for any amount of time, as he might fall off the table but be prevented from reaching the ground because of the noose. With unpleasant results no one wants to contemplate.Mine came without the noose, and the seller sent one right away.Table covering is rubberized plastic that has grooves in it. I use my grooming brush to "wipe off" the table surface to catch any loose hairs, odd bits, and seed burrs.TO DETERMINE WHICH TABLE HEIGHT TO BUY: Table height should be determined by how tall the dog is, not how tall you are. Stick your arms out in front of you at the height you'd like your dog to be when you are grooming it. Measure your dog at the shoulders and subtract that from the previous number. Buy the table nearest that size.I would not groom my pets daily if I didn't have this table sitting in the garage, at the ready! Having it set up and the tools standing by means I don't have to drag out all the stuff. Which means I'll groom my pets. If you have the Procrastinations, too, this might be the solution for you.And the price is right!Great purchase. mb

I have used this table 20+ times as I run a new mobile in-home grooming business. So far, we have absolutely 0 issues. I have fit an Australian Sheppard on it ( mind he was insanely well behaved) and it travels in the trunk of my car.A few tips, when attaching the arm take care to ensure it is not on the side where the metal edge connects and use a felt pad to reduce the indenting that the clamp makes. Also ensure the legs are locked, the table will fall if you fail to do this as my bather did at a clients house last week. The locking bar is a bit tight at first but it will break in after a bit. You can also use the table arm is 2 ways, I suggest purchasing another lead so that you can double strap any dog who may wiggle a bit more and fidget.I am short 5'1 so the height is great for me but hard on the back of anyone who may be taller.

I am only giving this a four star because I have had very good luck with the dogs that I've put up on it. I don't have wiggly or highly energetic dogs, and I haven't used it a lot yet. That being said, I have enjoyed this table a LOT. We generally use it to show groom our table trained Siberian who is trained to jump up onto it, but also use it for grooming a friend's 18 month old golden who is very lazy and doesn't cause any grief.Siberians- 35-50#Golden - 65#Me- 5'2 (since it isn't adjustable)Pros: sturdy, easy to clean, long enough to stack a large dog onto.Cons: so far the only two I can identify is the grooming lead it comes with is pretty flimsy. I have a commandeered PETsMART grooming loop I've been using instead. Also the arm is a bit ... 'Meh' but easily managed or replaced.
