I adopted a small "chiweenie" type dog, abandoned in my neighborhood, wandering around homelessthis summer, very cute dog. She LOVES this toy!!! Packs it around with her all the time, even tries to take it outside with her, she shakes it like crazy! If I squeak it, she goes nuts. I would recommend this toy. She doesn't seem to be a heavy dutychewer, so it is lasting quite well. I got several similar toys like this to give her in the coming days,I am sure she will love them as much as this one. I could see if your dog was a chewer, it might notlast long, but, for maybe supervised play, it could be OK, and then put away safe until you havetime for more supervised play with your dog. I even named my new dog Zany because she goesso nuts for this toy!

I have two cavachons and they both love this toy. My boy seems to play with it more than my girl but we play together with them and this toy they run after it and bring it back. they are both love to chew things and these hold up very well compared to other toys that last just a few days. Amazon's price is average I check it every now and then but I wouldn't pay more than $6 for it. hope this helps anyone with small dogs mine LOVE it.

I've had many of these for my dog over the last 6 yrs. It's been his absolute favorite toy! Sadly, the stuffing has now changed and my dog noticed a difference, so I had to return my last order. If the stuffing reverts to the former type, I'd love to know about it so I can order them again! My dog takes months and months to get these bones down to where there's little to no stuffing left, so that it's merely a piece of material we use to play tug-of-war with him or throw for him to chase. By the way, we've ordered pink and green ones and he knows the difference in the color, too, and he will NOT play with them!

Our 8 week old black English lab came home with one of these Zanies toys which the breeder had kept in the pen with him and his brood. After a few months, he had ripped that one, we stitched it up and he ripped it again, but when it was taken away he would whimper so we felt he missed it. This new toy is slightly larger and plusher however he doesn't treat it with the same devotion that was reserved for what was probably his first toy. Nothing against Zanies, they make fine toy, but this no longer finds favor with our 6 month old!

My dog LOVES this toy. This is his second one. The first is still in pretty good condition; I bought this one as a back up but its alot of fun watching him choose between the two. The squeeker still works in the original & he plays with it EVERY day. His first Zanie came from the vet (he was such a good boy) so I figure it must be ok. Dieter is a 45lb, 4 yr. old Standard Schanuzer so we're talking a decent size dog roughing up this toy day after day!

Our dog has had one of these since we adopted him and it is the only toy he wants. It was starting to get quite thread bare and the squeekie didn't squeek anymore(he didn't care). I looked for a new one in stores here in town but nothing like it. So glad we found a fresh one to carry on and so is he of course!
