My parrots told me to tell you guys the following:"Squak, skwalk screech, (flap flap), squalk, screech (poop) whistle, shriek, woohoo, skwalk, sqalllk, whistle shriek, woohoo, "bad word" WOWWW, shriek!"(Translation: We love this thing, it's awesome and fun (s'cuse me, I have to poop...ahhh, that's good...all done, right on the floor totally missed the paper mommy put down, now where was I?) Oh yeah, I fully approve of this fine offering of a toy and hope to get another one for two since I seem to love destroying my toys making maximum mess directly proportionate to the fun it is playing with it, and rightfully recommend this for your birdy needs.

This toy is wonderful! My birds took an instant liking to this toy! It's a decent sized toy and seems like it will hold up pretty well for quite a while. My quaker parrot and cockatiel both love to rest the bottom frillies of this toy on top of their heads. My parakeets like to climb and pull at the strings. It instantly increased play activity with all of my lovely birds, and seems to take away from their boredom. Will definitely buy again in the future!

My African Grey LOVED this toy, although it only lasted one day. He tore into all of the wood creating hundreds of matchsticks from the colored blocks of soft wood. Well made with lots of soft rope knots. Although he loves untying knots, he never got to them because he chewed through the wood and the ropes fell to the bottom of the cage. I may repurpose the little ropes into another toy. The wood is secured off of a sturdy chain, the cage clip is safe and will not injure your bird. Great day of fun for an African Grey. A smaller bird will probably get a lot more days of chewing wood. All in all, a good sized, fun toy, not too expensive - even if your bird destroys it in a day. I will be ordering a couple more for a once a month treat. A very nice product.

It was so great that is only lasted 3 days with my African Gray. Normally Clyde will play with and chew hit toys over time and many wood toys will last a week or more. Clyde loved tearing this up. He took an enjoyment to chewing off the different colors and putting them in his water and then watching the water color change.Clyde gives this 5 stars

Perfect size for my Amazon and he loves all the wood and knots to tear up. Big enough to keep him busy for weeks and a great price when compared to pet shop prices. Lots of wood blocks in different sizes and shapes and he loves it. If your bird is afraid of it, set it somewhere where he can see it and move it closer as you see your bird not acting fearful. Eventually the bright colors and all the interesting parts will make it irresistible. Product claims it's safe food coloring and also suggests you supervise your bird when playing with toys.

This toy looks good, but I wish the company would list the exact products used. Type of wood, rope, and dye used are all important things to know before buying a toy like this.On the up side, it is very colorful, it seems very strong, and all the bits and pieces are actually hanging on a length of chain with a large ring at the bottom so once this is destroyed, I can hang something else on the chain. I could also hang something else (such as a bell or another toy) from the ring at the bottom. However, there are some knots on here that appear to be made of leather, and since I'm buying this for rats and not birds, I'll have to take those off. So far, it doesn't seem like taking them off will ruin the structural integrity of the toy though.Overall, I'm happy, especially for the reusable chain. I hope the other bird toys I ordered are the same way.Update: I took the leather out and a few small pieces of wood came off. I used strips of fabric from an old shirt to put them back on and it's good as new. I also slipped a few extra pieces of fabric through the chains for foraging :)

So far, he hasn't managed to kill this one! Kermie the Quaker is a chewer and many toys have gone into his cage to meet their rapid demise. This one has quite a bit of wood and thick ropes that has kept him busy for hours and has, so far, held it's own. It's a nice, large size, so I anticipate many hours of play ahead for him with his new chew toy. Surprisingly, he went right to this one, too... it usually takes him a couple of hours to size up the new invaders to his domain, but he hopped right on this one and went to swinging. Maybe he's mellowing in his old age?

I have a pair of Amazon parrots, one 4 years and the other about 3- 3 1/2. They loved it, 1st week the older one started playing with and by the second week the other joined (the younger one was scared of it at first). They bit the multi-colored blocks and untied the knots much quicker than I expected. It definitely got their attention and they made less noise at home. The only problem is their beaks were too strong and in 3 weeks they completely destroyed it, I would recommend this toy for any bird SMALLER than them. The chain used to hold the toy up is still in the cage and they bite it sometimes.
