I bought this toy for my 14lb Mini Goldendoodle puppy. She loves to play tug with it or just shake it back and forth. Warning though the first night of playing with it it knocked out 4 of her milk teeth, she didn't seem to mind but it got blood on the toy. I just threw it in the washing machine and it is as good as new. The toy is pretty large but that doesn't keep her from playing with it. We have had it for a few months now and it virtually has no wear and tear. I liked the squirrel because it didn't have as much of the fuzzy parts on it as some of the other which I think helps with durability and cleanliness. Overall, a fun toy that my dog can entertain herself with or that we can enjoy together playing tug or fetch.

although my four babies (5-10 pounds) love this toy, they have yet to understand tug with each other :) I usually have to get down and play with them, but otherwise they LOVE this toy. They had the cow for years (got lost in a move) and never ripped a seam - so I HAD to get another. They all run and flap this around like crazy. worth the money!

The dogs love them, they are pretty much indestructible. The 3 dogs destroy any toys including rope with a few weeks or abandon or bury them. These toys will last over a year, then I replace them with a new one, they still look for the old one for a few hours, them fight (play) over the new one.

My family took bets on how our German Shepherd Buddy would destroy this toy. First he chewed an ear off and pulled out all the stuffing. Then he chewed a leg off. Then he chew another leg off. Then he nibbled holes in the body. The body is getting threadbare and it only has two legs left, so it's time to buy a new one. Why am I buying a new toy if our dog managed to destroy it? Because it took him two months to do so, and he loves this toy. He doesn't eat the pieces he pulls off (I think because they're not soft like a plush toy), and he grabs this toy to shake around when he gets excited instead of a pillow or a towel. Plus, none of the squeakers are broken yet. I stuffed the squeakers from the amputated legs into the body.Bottom line: If you have a rough and tumble dog that likes to mangle toys, give this one a try. It's not indestructible, but it is very difficult to destroy.

I love this brand of dog toy. I have a medium sized dog and he loves these - different sounding squeakers and lots of options to pull on. The squirrel did not live up to the test of chewing as well as the previous version I had, but regardless, still a lot stronger quality and seams than most dog toys on the market. (My dog chewed through the fuzzy tail section and small ears that most other animal varieties do not have.)
