My dogs LOVE the Charming Pet latex toys!! We have a Maltipoo and a American Staffordshire Terrier mix and surprisingly they don't destroy them immediately. They are soft and flexible latex so it could tear easily depending on how hard the dog chews it - my two dogs chew on them but not usually to destroy or at least it lasts a little while first - we also don't leave it out all the time but let them have it several times a day. Having said that, for the last 6 wks we also have had a 6 year old foster dog that is a Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese mix and the terrier in her makes her seek out and destroy EVERY toy!! She also LOVES these latex toys - she played with this duck about 3-4 times before tearing the neck area. Even though there is about a 1" tear, it still squeaks and so far she is not trying to pull it apart so they still get to play with it. We had the green alligator and it lasted a long time, probably 1 1/2 yrs. Also Lily the Lion lasted a long time until the foster dog got a hold of it. This duck lasted about 4 days with limited play before the neck was torn but as long as they don't keep tearing it or start pulling out the small amount of stuffing we will let them play with it. Once someone takes a bite out of the torn part, then we will throw it away. Bottom line, we've had 5 of these latex toys and 3 were around for a couple of years and since the Yorkie mix has arrived, we are down to two that are both torn but still usable until they tear them up. They love these Charming Pet latex toys so much that we will buy more after our foster dog has found her forever home.

I got this for my sisters doxen. She loves this toy. She'll even sleep with it. I was trying to find a toy that she wouldn't tear up in two minutes. She was able to chew the tip off the tail (unfortunately she swallowed it before we could get it away), but as hard as she tries she hasn't been able to tear off any more pieces. She has another one of these that has a Christmas hat and chewed the tip of the tail off on that one too. I'm guessing the tip is on there for make it look like a balloon animal, but it seems to be the one part that's easy to chew off. My sister's dog didn't have any negative results from swallowing the tip of the tail, but a smaller dog might have had problems.

This toy is a big squeaker, so it is easy for the dog to squeak it. It is also loud and high pitched, which the dog LOVES. The best feature of this toy is that it bounces, so the dog spends all his time tossing it around, letting it bounce, and catching it again. It is very entertaining for him, and very amusing for me to watch.I also like that this toy is easy to clean. It now has some dings and scratches but has held up very well. The tail of the duck is not filled with air and my dog likes to gnaw on it once he tires from chasing it around. It hasn't showed any signs of wear either.
