Onf of my Golden Retriever FB friends posted about this item which is why I thought I would give it a try. With Goldens you don't have dust bunnies, you have tumbleweeds! This gives the FURminator a run for it's money! After one session with a Golden, there is enough fur to make a maltese

I own a dog grooming salon and this brush works wonders on dogs with an inch of coat or more! Won't won't well on smooth coated dogs like Dalmatians, pointers, beagles, etc. Works great on dogs like golden retrievers, German Shepherds, huskys, Scottish terriers, setters, etc. Just be careful you don't over do it and make the coat look sparse!

We have a Norfolk Terrier and a broken coat Russell Terrier. This tool is nearly miraculous on our double-coated Norfolk's coat, and great on the Russell, too. It has no blade, but grips the dead hair of the undercoat and pullis it out more effectively than any tool I have used, and I have plenty of them, from furbusters to expensive shedding blades for hand stripping. I will need to use some other tools to finish the heads, but otherwise, this does the trick, painlessly and quickly. I highly recommend it for any double-coated dog.

I have 2 westies who shed A LOT. I've always used my furminator but I noticed recently it was irritating their skin, so I went looking for something that was softer when brushing --- softer for them, but still removes the hair. My groomer recommended this brush and I love it. It doesn't scratch their skin and it pulls out a lot of hair.

Absolutely love this brush! I'm a dog groomer and this brush can get out quite a bit of matting that my old brush struggled with. I'm definitely buying another. It is a little bigger than what I'm used to but I've gotten used to it. I highly recommend this slicker brush!!!

I'm surprised that I actually really like these! I have a hard time finding scissors that are a good weight and size for me but I love these! And the price is great!

So, I have been a dog groomer for over seven years and I'm so disappointed I ddin't try this brush sooner! This brush is very soft to the touch and perfect for sensitive skin, yet strong enough to penetrate the coat. I am very impressed by this brush and highly recommend it!! I will definitely buy another in the future!

If you own a poodle, doodle, Portuguese water dog, or any other long haired curly breed you need a slicker brush. Pet shops don't always sell them but any groomer will tell you that you need one of these to break up the curls that turn into matts. Careful not to scratch the skin, but otherwise this is an excellent product.
