If Kong ever stops making these, they will be receiving my dog in return, maybe she can drive them nuts begging for it. We have to keep 4 or 5 on hand, she pesters us to death if we don't have any. We keep them on the fridge, and when she doesn't have one, she will sit and stare at the top of the fridge for hours, then pace and whine, then stare some more. You do not know the lengths we've gone through to prove (when we don't have one), that one isn't there. As long as we keep an eye on her, we can manage to make it last a few days. She always takes the tag off and then goes for the squeaker. That buys some time. Once there is a weakened spot, time to watch out. He won't last more than a couple days after that. If we are really diligent, we can keep one Moose intact for a couple of weeks. The interior rope is great. Those last quite a while. We have several laying around even still.I like the Moose, but my Julie is in love with him I think.

Since the star ratings are "I like/love it" I asked my dog to share her thoughts on it and I've shared below."The toy is SO MUCH fun! The mane of the lion was really tasty, but I've already chewed almost all that off and ate it or spread it around the house so I could watch you clean it up while lecturing me about this is why we can't have nice things. Anyways, back to the toy and how much fun I've had with it this month! One of my favorite parts is that I can throw it up in the air and play with it on myself when you're to busy with real stuff or wrapped up in a really good show on Netflix. When you are able to play, I like the fact you can throw it farther than the toys with nothing inside. The rope loops can be destroyed too but since I'm a light chewer they haven't been completely demolished yet. Overall, I've had a blast with this toy but probably want a different animal next time."

I have to tell you.....I just ordered my second of these great and VERY tough toys for my 3 year old aggressive chewing, toy destroying Labrador Retriever who EATS what she chews off of her toys. I cannot tell you how much we've spent on so called TOUGH toys over her lifetime, then thrown in the trash. She not only loves this on her own but plays tug of war with me and puts every one of her 95 lbs. into her game. She has frayed a few threads but the plush fabric has not started coming apart and, believe me, she has been happily chomping on it as long as I'll let her. This is the longest lasting fabric toy she's had and I could not be more pleased. We're going on a whole week which is a record for her. I will buy more of these, for sure!

It's crazy how much my dog loves this. Best thing I've bought for my dog so far. I adopted a 6 month German Shepherd pup. At six months, he was already 50 lbs and bigger than many full grown dogs. At 7 1/2 months, he's 65 lbs. I've discovered that it's very difficult to find toys and chews for large dogs! This is his absolute favorite thing, he carries it around and always wants to play tug of war. He's even gotten my brother's Shepherd-Rottweiler (HUGE) to play tug with him, each dog on one end.It has ripped a bit in one corner. But, honestly, the amount of large teeth/strong jaw tugging it's received, I'm shocked it hasn't ripped more. I would definitely recommend this for any tog

My pup, weighing in at 50 pounds, was initially playing with it but because he has a thing for tags, he ended up tearing the moose ears and it now looks like a monkey lol. He's an aggressive chewer and we have to monitor him when he's nibbling on this thing or else he will eat up the stuffing too, smh. A great toy to play with him though!

I recently rescued a dog and named her Betty, like the song OLD BLACK BETTY, BAMBA LAM, and I noticed everytime I would start to say her name and sing that song to her she would speek and get exited and want to play. So I went to amazon and came across Kong Tugger Knots.. When it got to the house I started to sing that song and open her new toy and when she saw that toy she fell in love first holding him, then I went for the toy and she sqeeked his little sqeeker in the feet area and started sqeeeking the toy running all over the house so proud!! Anyway now we own to moose, the monkey, a similar type toy by Kong thats a piggy!! My dog loves these and I would recommed them to any pet owner who wants a quality toy with the tugging, cuddling factor, and Squeeker! Betty Loves your product and so do I.. Thanks to Kong and Amazon

One more day in the cabin and one more toy for the pups to play with! Two new ones came a week ago and they were both deciding on which one they wanted. Just like kids, they both wanted the same one.Today in Vermont we have 5 new inches of snow and of course, they wanted to go outside with this one. I finally relented and both are racing merrily around the back yard and pulling on their end of the toy. This is an extremely well made toy and the stitching is firm and no rips/tears after over a week of rough housing. Will update if any malfunction occurs. Pictures to follow in a bit. In the first picture, the oldest pup is 'guarding' this toy and the youngest one is on top of her with another one. I have vision problems and can't be 100 % certain that the second one is the correct toy! Anyway, both are enjoying their new toys. Most highly recommended.
